Lasonya Murdaugh

I am LaSonya Bryson-Murdaugh, an assistant principal at Hampton County High School. This is my 28th year in education. During my tenure as an eductor, I have served as a middle school teacher, director of adult education, and assistant principal. I hold a bachelor's degree in education from Lander University and a Master's degree in adminstration from the University of South Carolina. I also hold the following titles: wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, auntie, educator, and minister.

School still excites me like it did when I was a child awaiting my very first day. I look forward to learning and growing while building relationships and making lasting impressions on the lives of students who will shape the future. I am honored to work with young people and their families each day. Being a member of the Hurricane family is an experince that I do not take lightly. My goal each day is to be better than the day before and to ensure that our students get the best educational opportunities possible.
